How do I run my Azure Billing report?

Cloudmore enables you to produce your monthly CSP billing data in minutes allowing you to easily and accurately invoice your customers.

The CSP Direct Azure billing process uses different components of Cloudmore to make Azure billing more accurate, faster, and easier to understand for your customers.

The report is based on the Microsoft costs, with your price adjustments automatically added for each customer, which you set using the Azure price management guide.  The data generated can be passed to your billing platform using either a CSV file or the systems API.

With Cloudmore you can send your customers a simple, summary invoice and they can view the invoice details, on-demand, within their self-service area. They see the same detailed breakdown as you but personalized and without your cost price showing.

1. Go to Azure

Log in to Cloudmore.  Navigate to your  Broker menu > Billing >Microsoft Azure CSP billing.

2. Retrieve Billing Data

The chart displayed at the top of the page shows a summary of the combined Azure Classic and Azure Plan total billing costs for the last six months.

A list of all available invoices is shown below the chart for each individual invoicing period. The invoice list shows the Invoice ID, Type, Billing Period, Total Cost, and Currency. 5. Organization Usage Reports

Cloudmore allows broker and organization administrators to see Azure usage data for Classic and OneTime billing modals.

As some organizations do not require the usage data, and because of the large amount of data it is necessary to enable Azure Plan usage data synchronization which allows users to download data directly without scheduling the report

To enable  the Azure Plan usage data synchronization go to Broker Menu > Billing > Microsoft Azure CSP billing > Microsoft Azure Setting

Tick check box to enable

Usage1

To run the usage report for an organization go to Organization menu > My Services > Azure > Usage report.

The Usage report offers Classic Azure and Azure Plan invoices usage data on the same page. When a customer is integrated into Azure Plan you might see both types of invoices

To run the usage report go to the Actions button and click on the dropdown menu

To download the report to Excel click on Download where the option is available. Downloads directly to Excel are only available for Azure Legacy reports

To email the report, click on Schedule:

  • For ongoing periods check the Send export once option and enter the email addresses required separating with a semicolon for multiple recipients
